Game of Thrones Season 7: What Might Happen?

Like many of you, I am suffering Game of Thrones withdrawal symptoms. Re-watching episodes, reading all kind of wild theories on the internet, anything to fill the gap. So with this in mind, I thought it would be good to take a look through what might happen. HBO have announced that there will be two more episodes, which will finally see the end of, the Game of Thrones. So what can we
expect?

Someone will be the prophesied Azor Ahai

It’s been written about far and wide on the internet, with all kinds of conspiracy theories banded around the internet. In truth, it is likely to be one of three characters. Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen or a character we just haven’t met yet. Might bet so far, is Jon Snow. He is the only character to be brought back to life and surely represents ‘A Song Of Ice and Fire.’ After the revelation that Jon is in fact the baby of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, he would represent both Ice and Fire. So at the moment, he is surely the leading candidate.

Daenerys will finally invade Westeros

It has been bubbling since season one. The seemed rightful lord of the seven kingdoms will at last cross the narrow sea and do battle for the Iron Throne. She has a mighty force with her as well. A whole bunch of Unsullied, three dragons, Iron Born warriors and her new allies from Dorne, possibly including the Tyrells. Who knows might also reside with the mother of dragons in Westeros. Apart from Cersei it will be interesting to see just who her main competitor might be.

The king in the North might have some problems

Jon Snow has battle hard to get where he is. Currently he has the support of the North behind him and has been dubbed the ‘King In The North.’ Although it doesn’t seem like Jon craves power, there is certainly a bit of tension between him and Sansa. Little Finger expressed his ideas about who should be sitting on the Iron Throne. ‘I envision myself sitting on the Iron Throne, with you by my side.’ The last words of Lord Paetyr Baelish in season six. The master of manipulation will no doubt be looking to cause more trouble next season.

Cleganebowl

Now that we know both of the Clegane brothers are alive and still as vicious as ever, hopefully we will see a long anticipated battle of the two brothers. It has been dubbed ‘Cleganebowl’ by fans and would surely be one of the best duels the show has managed to produce.

So there we have it, the key points which we can hopefully expect come season seven, from Game of Thrones. It should be some of the best television yet!
